I n 1958  I was awarded Shodan  (Judo) , by Roy (Pop) Moore (Judo Hall of Fame with Dr. Kano) 1st Place in the Southwestern Judo Championships in Austin, Texas. 1st Place in the Louisana State Championship (also in 1959). Evaluation of a Self Defense Technique 1.
